The Old Home Place Concert Series welcomes Texas songwriters Stefan Prigmore and Simon Flory Thursday, July 9 at 7pm. Tickets are fifteen dollars each. The joy Stefan Prigmore finds in the outdoors and the gratitude he shows on the stage are part of the same values that persevere in his music today. Stefan's sound is a rustic and approachable blend of Americana, folk, and roots. Prigmore’s lyrics are stark and sincere, and his voice is dynamic and distinctive. Simon Flory ’s music is suffused with elements of his childhood growing up in Indiana, days spent in the fields, church sings and gravel roads. It takes a perceptive ear to translate these icons of a mythical Americana into the daily texture of real human lives but Flory does it with sincerity.
